Liz Frederiksen
Digital Content Creator and Social Media Coach in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Currently, I am a Social Media Consultant and Content Creator who guides businesses, non-profits and artists in setting up, managing and maximizing their online presence. (Please email me for a free consultation and quote!)
Previously, I was the Social Media Manager at Students Offering Support and spent my time posting to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn on behalf of SOS Head Office. I also oversaw the social media presence of 30 university Chapters!
Before making the lateral move into social media, I worked in lifestyle television as a researcher, casting producer, and story editor. I also briefly worked as a consultant for a non-profit fundraising company where I researched/wrote grants and corporate proposals for clients such as Goodwill Industries, Ontario Track 3 Ski Association and the Japanese Canadian Cultural Center.
I have many framed pieces of paper on my wall, including an MFA in Documentary Media from Ryerson, a BAH from Queen’s University, and Post-Graduate Certificates in Social Media Marketing from George Brown College and Broadcast Journalism from Seneca College.
When I’m offline, I enjoy hoop dancing, jazz, photography, sketching, knitting and spending time with my family, especially my niece and godson, who light up my world. And, like every respectable contributor to internet culture, I love cats!
